Monte Wolverton
Son of cartoonist Basil Wolverton, Monte began his career as a graphic designer in the early 1970s. His cartoons and comics were first published in CB Radio magazine, Creative Computing, CAR-toons and Youth Magazine. He worked in advertising and publication design and illustration in L.A., Seattle and Portland. Monte's interests turned to editorial cartooning in the mid 1990s. He is also managing editor of Plain Truth magazine, an occassional contributor to MAD magazine, and a board member of the Rat Terrier Club of America. He resides with his wife Kayte in Westlake Village, California.
